Here's the question what creative ways could we use these pictures and others like them in class today and tommorrow to promote quality thinking and discussion. 1. There's a lot of discussion about global warming. What does snow in mid-April indicate about this discussion, if anything? 2. Why does snow stick on glass more than it sticks on the ground? 3. There's a store in the background of one of these pictures, actually it's a florist. What type of an effect do your students think that inclement weather would have on the business that a florist does? Why?
